I don’t mean to sound like an advertisement but considering how popular Attack on Titan is I would recommend pre-ordering it fairly soon if you plan on buying when it’s released. For those of you who aren’t crazy obsessive girls like me there are cheaper options. (Because I’m crazy and pay $100 for anime). However, I’m really looking forward to it and already have the collector’s edition box set on preorder. There’s still a place in my heart for the sub version of Attack on Titan and we won’t really know how good the dub version is going to be until it comes out on DVD. Ashly Burch’s voice suits her character really well I love how she did her laugh. There’s only a few lines for Sasha’s preview but I’m already excited to see more. Based on the clip, Josh Grelle sounded really good and he fits Armin’s character well without making him sound like a dork. It was really hard for me to picture him with a male sounding voice. I thought for sure Armin was going to be voiced by a girl since he’s a somewhat nerdy personality. The two characters that impressed me the most are the voices of Sasha and Armin.

This is a pretty good sign, I love the dubbed versions of the animes they’ve produced but I do want to see more verity of voices. I’m really impressed that the cast isn’t too well known there are even a few names I don’t recognize. Since it is such a popular anime I was afraid they would choose extremely popular voice actors that wouldn’t really suit the characters. I admit it was difficult imagining English voices for the characters since the sub was so phenomenal but so far I’m really impressed with the voice choices.įrom listening to the sample clips FUNimation provided for their elite subscribers, I think they did a pretty good job picking the cast. As one of the many excited fan girls that follow the blockbuster hit, Attack on Titan, my eyes were glued to the FUNimation home page when they announced the cast of the English dub.
